Smyrna
is one of Georgia’s oldest treasures. From the year 1832 when Pioneers first explored to the year 1872 when it first received its current name, Smyrna has a history all its own. Located just Northwest of Atlanta, closest to Interstates I-75, 285, and I-20. Driving an automobile is the most common form of transportation in the Smyrna area, but residents are also able to use the CCT Public buses to transport themselves to a variety of shopping, dining, and fine arts activities in the area.
